One of the best health clubs in Dubai. I especially enjoy some of the group exercise classes including Yoga and Martial arts. The free DVD rental is another plus.

Well, sometimes if the card benefits are god it worths to pay an annual fee.
I got two credit cards from ABN AMRO and they mislead with the offered benefits of their credit cards.

They mention free cinema tickets and free entrance to Ski Dubai.
The Free movie tickets promotion in valid ONLY on Fridays, ONLY one movie (not your choice, theirs) ONLY one timing and ONLY one cinema.
The “free” Ski Dubai entrance is almost the same, and it is not free. it is a “discount’.

As soon as I can I will definitely change my credit cards to other bank because the customer service is not great either… Maybe in other countries ABN AMRO isn’t that bad but in Dubai it is a disappointment.

They are going to be closing off half the course this summer! A note from the management -

“In addition our extreme summer climatic conditions coupled with poor quality irrigation water also have deteriorated the greens year after year prompting us to implement a greens rebuild construction program which will commence on June 1st 2008 for the front 9 greens.

This will involve closing the front 9 holes of the golf course for a period of 4 months from June 1st to September 30th to allow us to remove the existing greens turf and top 6 inches of high organic contaminated soil.”

I loved the spa – other great spas to try out in Dubai include the H20 Male Spa and the new Heavenly Spa at The Westin Dubai hotel in Jumeirah

love Barasti!!!!!!!!!! Best bar on the beach, however Summer humidity and heat can be a challenge. also has a/c areas now, which is good. food is great but getting in on the weekends (esp single guys!) is a bit of an issue

You should also try Standard Chartered since they are an international bank – but they have annual charges
